Asphodel BN - X.EXE / Rian.EXE

Description

So I redesigned this guy, if any of you remember him. shreedle.deviantart.com/art/X-…

I almost hope you don't, I chucked everything about his story out the window and dropped him into Patch Hikari's era in the Asphodel AU.

Anyways. His name is X.exe (based off of, obviously, X, my current obsession), but for a good portion of his life is spent going by Rian.exe. He's not MegaManJr. (Capcom, plz), but he could be considered his brother... because he's based off of Megaman.exe and Zero.exe (imo, Navis don't need a romantic connection to have other Navis based off of them).

Originally a Navi that supposedly belonged to a criminal organization, X decided that nope, he wasn't going to be doing that. But instead of constantly living the life of a fugutive, he altered his color palette, hacked a NetNavi shop, and put himself up for "sale", screening people that came by looking for Navis.

Eventually, X decided to go with a pair of adults looking for their young daughters' first Navis -- Thalia Rayen, the older of the twin girls, seemed perfect, as she had little interest in battling and therefore would have little reason to get involved in things. Tal (Thalia) was delighted with him, named him Rian, and gave him an alternate Navi emblem. She even created a scarf for him as a welcome home gift, and he decided to keep it permanently because it helped with his disguise.

Their relationship? Thalia wanted a Navi. Instead, she gained a protective older brother figure. Rian just wanted a family he could hide with. Instead, he gained a little sister figure that he would be deleted for.

Said criminal organization isn't going to sit quietly just because their prized Navi ran off, though...

Abilities:
I haven't finalized ALL his abilities yet, but the one thing that I am confirming that he has is Form Change - the ability to change elements. X.exe is a Null-type Navi that can change his element so that he has an advantage in battles. As Rian.exe, though, he chooses Fire-type and sticks with it; changing his element would be too suspicious.

All forms of X/Rian have Giga Crush -- if he takes too much damage in battle, he can activate it and damage everything in the area proportional to the damage he took. This includes allies and enemies, so it doesn't come in handy in tag-team battles...

Null (X):
-SetNormal - All panels become normal at the beginning of a battle
-Form Change - Can change elements at will to adapt
-Charge Shot - Normal charged shot
-Teleport - Can teleport around the battlefield

Fire (Rian):
-SetLava - All panels become Lava at the beginning of a battle
-Attack+2 - Buster power increases by 2
-CSLava - Buster charge shot creates Lava panels underneath anything it hits
-BvHeatS - Buster charge shot can become the equivalent of the HeatShot chip

I have his other elements picked out, but I have no need to write them here. I also did not include any NaviCust abilities that Thalia might give him.

His battlechips come in "R" and/or "X" code. Can't really splash the latter into too many folders, now can you...? He has V1-V5, EX, and SP Mega Chips, as well as the Giga Crush Giga Chip, but curiously he doesn't have a DS chip.

Design Choices:
Not gonna lie, I was curious as to how Xavier would look like as a NetNavi, and instead of naming him Xavier, went with Rian. Because I didn't want it to be TOO obvious, but still noticeable, that he was supposed to be an X when I designed him, I decided that he was going to keep Xavier's scarf, and have Xavier's Seraph Armor's color scheme -- off-white and gold.

I then decided that I wanted to also redesign my old X.exe design, and decided to make them both the same Navi -- just that "Rian" is the disguise for X, and that the white/gold colors are his "Fire" colors. From X.exe, I decided to keep the sleeveless coat design, and the part of his helmet that resembled a halo as well as the Navi earpieces and the triangle helmet gem.

Decided I wanted to jazz up the designs a little, so I added Copy X's little foot-wings, as well as making X-designs on his gloves and boots. Got a few more detailed designs on his helmet and hands. Some of the things I kept from MegaMan.exe were the earpieces being his Navi emblem, and the stripes going down his sides.

Navi emblems. X's is is a stylized X, supposed to be a mix between the Hikari family emblem and the Maverick Hunter logo. Rian's is a design that Thalia came up with for him, a stylized peace sign.

I really like the design of the arm cuffs and the red pieces of the helmet, (I have no idea what to call them, cheek pieces?). The red stripes down the legs really accentuate shape very well, and the emblems are cool!
